HISTORY
Kids’ Law was developed to serve children who would otherwise have no representation in the judicial system.
Kids’ Law was incorporated on August 28th, 2003, as a not for profit 501(c) (3) organization. Originally known as the Northeastern Indiana Center for Child Advocacy (NICCA) we are the vision of local attorneys Beth Webber, Deborah Vian, and Cindy Amber.
As a Guardian Ad Litem, our attorneys are a child’s legal voice. We are responsible for working with the courts, parents/guardians, social service organizations, law enforcement agencies, and the school system to: protect the best interest of each child. In 2007 Kids’ Law handled over 700 cases, and the need for these services continues to grow.
